Greg has lived in St. Louis, Missouri since 1998 and married Stacy in 2001. They have three children. After growing up in a small rural town (Sullivan, Missouri), he graduated from Arizona State University.
Greg is CEO of CareVet, a veterinary hospital network, and founder and partner of Encore, a private equity fund. Prior to these roles, Greg was a partner with L Catterton, the largest consumer-focused private equity fund in the world. Previously, he and his brothers founded TRG Group, a manufacturer and distributor of luggage and travel gear for Swiss Army, Timberland, and Callaway Golf brands.
Greg’s philanthropic involvement currently includes being on the board of the Jewish Agency for Israel and chairing the CEO search committee and capital campaign for the St. Louis JCC. He is also leading the board reorganization and financial planning at Central Reform Congregation. Greg has served as board chair of the JCC, was on the executive committee and strategic planning committee of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, sat on the Board of Trustees at JFNA and the JFNA Global Planning Table, and is a past chair of Birthright Israel in St. Louis. He is a former member of JFNA National Young Leadership Cabinet and JFNA Fisher Flight. Greg was also on the board of the School of Entrepreneurship at St. Louis University and is often a guest lecturer in the School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis.
