Promoting Coexistence in the Western Galilee

Through a new Partnership2Gether program, young Jews and Arabs from Klil and Sheikh Danun have been meeting to overcome stigmas and cultural gaps. After the violence and unrest that followed Operation Guardian of the Walls in May 2021, bringing together Jews and Arabs for meaningful dialogue and to promote coexistence became even more crucial.

The program was made possible by The Jewish Agency’s Western Galilee Partnership2Gether region, the Jewish Federation of Omaha, the Matte Asher Community Center and its Sheikh Danun branch, and the community of Klil. Get to know some of the participants in the video below.
