Stanley Plotnick is the President of AVS Technologies Inc., (which he founded), a leading designer, developer, importer and distributor of consumer electronic products. Stanley Plotnick has a B.com Degree from the McGill University and a Master's Degree in Industrial Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Among his communal involvement, he serves as President of the Jewish General Hospital Corporation; he is the President-Elect of UIA Federations Canada; he is a Board member of the Jewish Community Foundation; he is a founding Chair of the CIJA Board of Directors.  

Among his most recent awards, Mr. Plotnick received an Honoree from the Jewish National Fuind Negev Dinner (May 2002); a Distinguished Leadership Award from Federation CJA and an Outstanding Montrealers Award, from the State of Israel Bonds.

Mr. Plotnick is a Board Member since June 2006. From June 2005 till than he served as an Associate-Member of the Board.
