Steven Nasatir is President of the Jewish United Fund / Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago.  He joined the staff of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago in 1971, becoming chief executive officer in 1979.

He currently serves on the boards of North Star Financial Corporation, the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute (JPPPI), the Michael Reese Health Trust; the Covenant Foundation and a number of family foundations.

Steven Nasatir holds a BA from the University of Illinois, an MA from Roosevelt University and a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.  He has served on the faculty of the University of Illinois, as well as on several city and state commission and task forces.

Steven Nasatir has been an Associate Member of the Board of Governors since October 1993.
