Sami Bollag was born, raised and studied in Lucerne.  

In 1968 he joined his father's wholesale fashion business. In 1974 he bought it and moved to Zurich. Gradually he became the owner of Esprit International. Lately, Mr. Bollag established new fashion company to distribute fashion brands in Switzerland and Europe (i.e. Castro).

 Mr. Bollag is an active Board member of Synagogue Committee - Jewish Community of Zurich. In the past he served as Board member of German & Italian-speaking Keren Hayesod, and than as the President. In 2005   he served as Chairman of Keren Hayesod June Conference.

Sami Bollag has become JAFI Board Member on October 2006. Prior to that, he served as a Committee Member (from February 2006).
