The Selim and Rachel Benin Fund in partnership with the UJA Federation of New York and the Jewish Agency for Israel distributed 81 scholarships to students studying for their masters and doctorates in the fields of science and technology.

Some 40% of the students are new immigrants, with each student receiving $1,000.  The program reflects the Jewish Agency's ongoing commitment to strengthening Israeli society.
