Live from Israel, The Challenges Which Unite Today’s Jewish World

Hundreds of community heads and leaders of organizations, from abroad and from Israel, will take part in The Jewish Agency Assembly in Jerusalem. Viewers in Israel and around the world can view \discussions and debates on the challenges facing the Jewish People today, and strategies on meeting these proactively.

Bringing Israel to Jews, and Jews to Israel

A select team of journalists and commentators, from the print media and television, will meet for TV studio panel discussions at the Inbal Hotel. Jewish leaders from around the world, together with noted thinkers, will discuss Israel’s central role in securing the Jewish future, and the centrality of an engaged Jewish community in securing Israel’s future.


The discussions will be broadcast from a special studio, and from the committee rooms, for the first time transmitting the voices and of hundreds of community leaders and Jewish organization heads from all over the world. (Broadcasts begin Sunday morning, June 24th, and run through Wednesday afternoon, the 27th.)

The assembly will be attended by the President of Israel, philanthropists and leading figures from the global Jewish community, and Israeli political, academic, and social luminaries.

The broadcasts will be transmitted live on The Jewish Agency’s website, and on other major Israeli English-language sites, including the Jerusalem Post online, and others, including The Jewish Agency’s social network, via Facebook.

The broadcasts will begin with the opening plenary session. Topics to be discussed at the plenary will be raised during an early morning discussion between journalist Sarah Beck and Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky.

The Jewish Agency Spokesman, Ofer Lefler, said at the start of the Assembly broadcasts: “I am delighted to bring to a wider public, via technology, the vital encounter between Jewish leaders. This was made possible by many parties who set the highest standards of broadcasting and content..
