Leon was born in Russia and repatriated to Israel with his family in 1990. Back in Russia Leon and Irina were medical students but didn’t graduate because of the decision to repatriate to Israel.

In 1991 Leon joined Herbalife International - the world leading marketer of nutritional products – where he became one of the top distributors with an international distribution network in over 30 countries and served as Board of Directors member for this company publicly traded at NYSE.

Leon is investor, shareholder and Board member in a number of Israeli high tech companies.

He is Chairman of the A-T Charity Foundation for the families of children suffering from a rare genetic condition Ataxia Teleangiectasia and also involved in other philanthropic projects and activities.

He is a Board Member since February 2013.
