Fred Zimmerman currently serves as UJC National Campaign Vice-Chair. A stockbroker, private investor and real estate developer from Nashville, Tennessee, Fred also serves the Nashville Jewish Federation as its president. Fred has served as Campaign Chair in Nashville and Chair of the Budget and Planning committee.  He is a past co-chair of UJA’s National Young Leadership Cabinet, and has served on the Executive Committee of AIPAC.  For several years, Fred has visited numerous federations of all sizes as a speaker, trainer and solicitor.

Mr. Zimmerman has served on the Board of various organizations, including Nashville’s Jewish Day School and the Gordon Jewish Community Center. He is also active in the Nashville chapter of the United Way.

Mr. Zimmerman has been a member of the Board of Governors since June 2004. From June 2001, he served as an Assembly member serving on Board committees. He is the Deputy Chair of teh Information Technology Committee.
