Ms. Sharon Janks has a long history of involvement in the Los Angeles Jewish community. A graduate of the Wexner Heritage Foundation, she served on the United Jewish Communities’ Young Leadership Cabinet for six years, where she held a number of positions, including Mission Campaign Chair. She has chaired several missions to Israel for The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, and chaired the Annual Giving Campaign for the Milken Community High School for three years.

Sharon is a Board member of the Women’s Alliance for Israel and an officer and Executive Board member of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. Currently, she serves as Chair of the Federation’s Premier Philanthropy program. Previously, she served on the Steering Committee of the Federation’s Tel Aviv/Los Angeles Partnership, and as Chair of the Sylvia Weisz Women’s Campaign of the United Jewish Fund.

She serves as a Board Member since June 2008.
