Richard N. Bernstein is chairman elect of United Israel Appeal. He is a member of the Jewish Agency Board of Governors, as well as the boards of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, the American Associates of Ben Gurion University of the Negev and the Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund.  

Mr. Bernstein is a senior of counsel with the international law firm of Greenberg Traurig, PA in Miami, Florida.   Mr. Bernstein has specialized in Business Transactional Law, Mergers and Acquisition, International Law and private and public financing matters. Mr. Bernstein is listed in the prestigious The Best Lawyers in America, 2005-2012 editions.

Mr. Bernstein received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a masters of business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received his law degree (cum laude) from the University of Miami School of Law.  Mr. Bernstein earned his certificate as a CPA in the State of Florida (currently inactive).  

Mr. Bernstein is a Member of the Board of Governors since October 1998. Between 2002 and 2004 he served as a Committee Member.
