Ms. Kathy Manning is the Chair of the Board of JFNA. she was also the first woman to chair the United Jewish Communities’ (JFNA) Executive Committee.  She is the immediate past Treasurer of UJC, chair of its Budget & Finance Committee, and has served in a variety of leadership positions at UJC.  She is a past chair of the Board of the Greensboro Jewish Federation and has chaired its Annual Campaign, its Operation Exodus Campaign, and its Women’s Division.  Kathy Manning has twice chaired the Board of B’nai Shalom Day School.  She has served in a variety of Board and leadership roles in Greensboro, NC, including the Board of Triad Stage, a professional regional theater, the Greensboro Symphony, United Way of Greensboro, the Community Foundation, the Children’s Museum and the Greensboro NCCJ. 

Kathy is a recipient of the UJA Young Leadership Award, the Greensboro Jewish Federation Ben Cone Award for outstanding leadership the Jewish and General Community, and the B’nai Shalom Irv Pinsker Award for Outstanding Leadership.  

Ms. Manning received her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School.  She was a partner at Smith Helms Mulliss & Moore from 1989 -2002.  She currently specializes in immigration law at her own firm, Manning & Associates, PLLC, in Greensboro, NC. 

Ms. Manning is a Member of the Jewish Agency Executive since November 2006. She was elected as a Board member on February 2010.
